Dolphin and Turtle Conservation in Greece
Help investigate the behavior and ecology of both bottlenose and short-beaked common dolphins through field research in the crystal clear waters around the Island of Kalamos. Work alongside researchers to gather and interpret data collected during surveys at sea. Or travel to Zakynthos where 80% of Mediterranean Loggerhead turtles nest and are currently under threat from the tourist industry. Help the Sea Turtle & Wildlife Information Center to demonstrate how turtle conservation and tourism can exist in a mutually beneficial manner.
